Okay, I have to admit that I did not know what to expect with this book. But Elly might just want to keep the baby herself, something nobody believes she’s capable of doing. Her older sister wants to adopt the baby, as do her new in-laws. On top of working and being hugely pregnant, she’s dealing with pressure from all sides on what to do with her baby when it’s born. Living with her new in-laws and working at their camp is about the last thing Elly wants to do, but she finds herself surprised by how much she enjoys spending time with the preteen girls at camp. Review copy provided by the publisher via NetGalleyĮleanor Crowe is in quite a pickle: sixteen and pregnant, her parents are leaving for Kenya so if she wants to keep her relationship with the baby’s father together she is forced to move in with him at the weight-loss camp his parents own.
